BUFFALO, N.Y. — A new Thai restaurant is under development on Allen Street.
Bamboo Ridge is planning a late November opening at 244 Allen St., Buffalo, adjacent to El Coquito, which took the corner space where Bidwell Buffalo had a short tenure before closing in 2022.
Bamboo Ridge will offer a menu of Thai and some Vietnamese cuisine, according to owner Hla Thu. It’s a restart for Thu, who previously ran the restaurant as a tenant inside the West Side Bazaar but closed there in April. The menu there included Vietnamese noodles and pho.
