BUFFALO, N.Y. — Six months after Billie Essco launched a collaboration between his fashion apparel brand and New Era Cap, he’s partnered with more local companies and making big plans for 2024.

In June, New Era made an exclusive deal with Essco to produce 1,500 of his multicolored “Café” hoodies and hats that were sold at the flagship store in Buffalo.

“I think the collaboration with New Era gave my mission more eyes, but ultimately, this is what I’ve been driven to do since I was young,” said Essco, who also goes by the name Chase Cobbina. “Now people are listening and watching what I’m doing. These partnerships and collaborations allow me to speak to different people that normally wouldn’t be in the same spaces with me to listen.”
