BUFFALO, N.Y. — Three apartment buildings that once belonged to Canisius University have been sold for $6.05 million.

2075 Main Street LLC sold the former Griffin Hall and Main-Humboldt townhomes at 2075 and 2079 Main St. to an affiliate of Birgo, a Pittsburgh-based real estate firm, according to Chris Greco of Greco Real Estate, who brokered the deal.

The buildings had been used for student housing by Canisius, which sold the properties for $2.45 million in 2021. The buildings have a combined 43 units.

2075 Main Street LLC is owned by Tom Barrett, president of Kulback's construction firm, and several partners. They converted the former dorms into market-rate apartments.
