BUFFALO, N.Y. — Surging enrollment has led to plans by the Buffalo Academy of Science Charter School for a new high school building.

Buffalo Academy of Science Charter School has proposed a 69,900-square-foot, three-story building on what is now vacant land at 239 Kensington Ave.

The $24 million project, which consists of 27 classrooms, cafeteria and gym, will begin the review process with the Buffalo Planning Board on April 10.
