CLARENCE, N.Y. — A popular spot for burgers and custard in Clarence is shut down.

Bill Gray's announced that it shut down its Clarence location because the lease expired.

The chain didn't elaborate on the decision.

The chain has been around for decades in Rochester, where there are still 14 Bill Gray's restaurants, but the Clarence one was the only one here in the Buffalo area.
