BUFFALO, N.Y. — Bella Ciao Italian Restaurant & Bar plans a mid-January opening at the Avant, bringing a full-service restaurant back to 200 Delaware Ave. for the first time since Sear Steakhouse shut its doors in early 2020.
The restaurant has been in the works since summer, with initial plans to open this fall.
Delays tied to the liquor license from the state slowed progress, but now all is back on track, said KC Mullett, whose portfolio includes Vice at 500 Pearl in Buffalo and N/eat on Transit Road in Williamsville.
