Asa Ransom House transitions to The Duke of Clarence and Adelaide's

The new names recognize the Duke of Clarence (who went on to become King William IV), for whom the entire town is named; and his wife, Adelaide.

New owners have made a few changes at the Asa Ransom House, starting with renaming the historic inn The Duke of Clarence; and launching a new restaurant called Adelaide’s.

The restaurant will be led by Chef Isaac Layzod, formerly with Share Kitchen in Williamsville, who has created a European/continental menu to replace the former Americana-style eatery.

Bradley McCallum, who bought the Clarence Hollow restaurant last summer with his wife, Cassandra, said there were several reasons behind the changes.  You can read the full story on Buffalo Business First's website
