LEWISTON, N.Y. — The development team restoring the historic Frontier House wants to take the Village of Lewiston landmark back to its roots.

Ellicott Development plans a $5 million makeover of the 197-year-old Frontier House, 460 Center St., that turn the vacant building into 11 short-term rental apartments or an Airbnb site. The Frontier House opened in 1824 as a hotel.

“We all know this is a great asset for Lewiston,” said Tom Fox, Ellicott director of development. “It is a building loaded with character, and we want to respect that.”  You can read the full story on Buffalo Business First's website
