NIAGARA FALLS, N.Y. — An Amherst-based development group is looking to turn 12 vacant Niagara Falls properties into restored units targeting tourists as tenants.
Armed with a $1 million Empire State Development “Restore New York” grant, Power City Ventures LLC intends to convert the vacant homes – spread over several Niagara Falls streets – into rental locations for tourists. Power City Ventures will also invest $1.5 million of its own money.
Some may be sold to first-time home buyers, said Rod Davis, Power City Ventures managing member and founder of Amherst-based R.J. Davis and Co. Development LLC. You can read the full story on Buffalo Business First's website.
