$24 million Central Park project would house pregnant women, single mothers

If approved, construction could start later this winter and the buildings could be move-in ready by spring 2022.

Plans by BestSelf Behavioral Health Inc. and Savarino Cos. could a see a vacant Central Park area parcel developed into a pair of apartment buildings intended for single mothers and women expecting babies.

The two buildings — Manhattan Village and the Lighthouse Building — collectively will have 82 apartments, plus support services in the Lighthouse Building.

Each building will be four stories, and development costs are pegged at $24 million.  You can read the full story on Buffalo Business First's website.
