BUFFALO, N.Y. – The 120th YMCA Turkey Trot is officially sold out.
The YMCA Buffalo Niagara hosts the Turkey Trot and 14,000 people will be in attendance again this year.
Attendance is limited to 14,000 people to adhere to fire code regulations inside the Convention Center, where the post race party and awards ceremony takes place.
The Turkey Trot is on Thanksgiving morning on Delaware Avenue. The Turkey Trot has never been canceled.
This year the location for packet pick up is at the Independent Health Family Branch YMCA located at 150 Tech Drive in Amherst from 10 a.m. – 7 p.m. Nov. 23-25.
Runners participating in the Turkey Trot are asked bring two cans of food with you to the race as part of 2 On Your Side's Food 2 Families drive for the Food bank of Western New York.
