BUFFALO, N.Y. — On November 13, the Pride Center of Western New York in Buffalo is hosting a Queer Arts and Crafts Swap.
This unique event is available for creative individuals who want to swap their art supplies with others.
Event organizers say paint, yarn, pencils, origami paper, and any other art related supplies are welcome.
The Pride Center is located on Delaware Avenue, but the event is being hosted at the Evergreen Commons, 67 Prospect Avenue, with the entrance on Georgia Street.
Join them from 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday to color, even if you don't have materials to swap.
This event is part of the Out & About group that gets together every month. The goal is for queer people to connect with others in the community and learn about LGBTQ+ health and wellness resources. You must be 16 or older to participate.
The organization specializes in LGBTQ+ health and wellness and is open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. with an exception for Thursdays with their hours being 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
