WILLIAMSVILLE, N.Y. - Most Western New Yorkers don't make a habit of chowing down on crepes for breakfast.
It's a habit they should start...especially with such a delicious restaurant in our area serving up the thin pancakes wrapped around all manner of fillings.
Owners Bob and Annie Sweeney started Break'n Eggs a few years ago, aiming to bring a little international breakfast style to Williamsville. Now, it's a bustling morning stop every weekend with customers who come from all over for crepes both sweet and savory- prepared right in front of you in a wide-open kitchen.
The main part of the menu is the "build your own crepe" section...offering a wide variety of fruits, veggies, and cheeses to concoct your favorite combination. Other popular crepe creations include bananas and Nutella, apples and caramel, and s'mores.
And the restaurant is well-known for its "Crepes Benedict"...a delicious take on Eggs Benedict with mini-crepes taking the place of the English muffins.
