BUFFALO, N.Y. — Romeo McKinney, a veteran Buffalo Public Schools basketball coach, recently passed away from kidney failure. He was 81 years old.
Romeo's son, Dan McKinney, shared the news on Facebook.
His South Park High School basketball teams dominated Section VI boys basketball in the early 1980s. He also coached at Kensington High.
His South Park teams won three Yale Cup titles and three Section VI titles.
