BUFFALO, N.Y. — Animal lovers can bring home a new furry friend this summer at the Erie County SPCA.
The organization announced its plans for a special summer adoption sale, following a "totally tubular" 80's theme.
Happening from June to July, adoption fees for dogs, cats, and smaller animals will be reduced to 1980's prices during the retro flashback sale.
Fees for dogs and cats at least one year old will be ranging from $55 - $35. Smaller animals of any age can be adopted for $15.
The flashback adoption event will run from June 8-15 and July 6-13 at 300 Harlem Road, West Seneca- featuring an 80's prize wheel and trivia for attendees.
In addition to brining home a new pet, visitors will have the chance to win adoption discounts, Petique coupons, and classic 80's prizes including jelly bracelets and sunglasses.
The Erie County SPCA will host a different sale every Saturday in addition to their decades themed event.
On June 22, visitors can receive a 25 percent discount on pets who have been waiting for a new home for over eight days.
If you were born in the 80's, visit the SPCA on June 29 for a 25 percent discount for any pet at least one year old.
Senior pets will be discounted on July 20, and pets who have not yet been adopted after eight days will be discounted at 80 percent on July 27.
The SPCA invites attendees to see what animals are currently up for adoption before heading to the flashback sale. For more information, head to YourSPCA.org.
