NIAGARA COUNTY, N.Y. — In August, a 14-year-old dog came to the Niagara SPCA in pretty rough shape, but fast forward a few months and now she is getting a brand new lease on life.
Reese, a very matted senior dog had been given to the Niagara SPCA after complaints of her condition were reported to SPCA Humane Law Enforcement Officers. Her former owner could not provide the true care she or any animal deserves, and charged with a plea deal to turn her over to the SPCA.
Everyone loves happy endings, and in a social media post made by the Niagara SPCA on Friday they shared that Reese would be getting officially adopted by her foster mom this week.
"We're so happy that Reese will live her best life in her sunset years!" they added.
