LOCKPORT, N.Y. — Lockport firefighters recently made a hairy rescue when a cat got itself stuck in a fence.
In a post made to their Facebook page they wrote:
"Today, firefighters from LFD’s 4th platoon, assigned to Engine 7, raced to Park Lane Circle to save a furry friend in distress— a cat with its head stuck in a fence! With quick thinking and expert skills, they freed the cat in no time! The cat is now in route to a veterinarian for evaluation and is expected to make a speedy recovery."
