SPCA Vets & Pets deal offers free adoptions for veterans

SPCA Serving Erie County is offering to waive adoption fees for veterans beginning Monday, Nov. 11 through Saturday, Nov. 16.

WEST SENECA, N.Y. — The SPCA Serving Erie County is offering to waive adoption fees for veterans beginning Monday, Nov. 11 through Saturday, Nov. 16.

This deal is only offered at the West Seneca location located at 300 Harlem Road. The hours are 11a.m. to 6p.m.

The program, called Vets & Pets, is a longtime tradition according to a news release.

Individuals and immediate families of those on active duty, reserves, and honorable discharge, along with service-disabled veterans and retirees are invited to adopt through the program.

Military ID or DD214 will need to be presented. If someone in a family is currently serving outside of the state, a military spouse card can also be presented for the offer.

The limit of waived fees can be applied for two animals.
