Orchard Park Bills fan uses residential parking lot to raise over $25K for charities

The sister of a departed veteran continues the annual collection drive.

ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. — Yet another example of the generosity Bills fans possess!

Lori Culver Sherk lives on Allen Street in Orchard Park, just a couple block south of Highmark Stadium.

Lori — and the football fans that use her residential lot — has raised around $4,000 this year. Over the last several years, she estimates between $25,000 and $30,000 has been collected for a variety of local causes.

Lori lost her sister to breast cancer. At age 51, Carol Culver — a 20-year Navy veteran — passed away from stage 4 cancer. To honor her sister, Lori donated mainly to breast cancer causes and veterans charities. Lori collects parking fees and also receives walk-up donations from generous tailgaters.

To reserve a spot, or to get more information, look for 'Josh Allen Street Parking' on Facebook.' The Allen Street sign features a jumping Josh Allen and has been featured on national broadcasts.

Lori said she is continually blown away and comforted by the kindness of Bills fans.
