Bills fans headed to Baltimore

Several direct flights took off from the Buffalo Niagara International Airport for Baltimore on Friday.

CHEEKTOWAGA, N.Y. — Ahead of game day, the Bills Mafia is taking over the Buffalo Niagara International Airport.

As of late Friday afternoon, there was just one more flight left going to Baltimore for the day leaving around 5 p.m., but a bunch have already landed in Maryland.

On Friday, we caught up with some of the Bills fans heading to the game on Sunday. They commented on how well Bills Mafia travels.

Eric Sheedy is going to the game with his dad who says he goes to a lot of the away games. One of Eric's friends has season tickets, so he also gets to go to a lot of games at Highmark Stadium. He told us why they wanted to go to this game.

"It's a big rivalry, big game, a game to get another big W this week and continue our success to the season. I'm glad that we've been blowing teams away. I thought they would be a lot closer, but I'm glad we've been blowing teams away. Hopefully, we do it again Sunday night," said Bills fan Eric Sheedy.

"I go to probably two or three road games a year. I'm a season ticket holder, and you know, and it's fun to see all the Bills fans on the road. We travel well, and it should be a great time," said Bills fan Robert Wood. "I thought that they've come off with a pretty good start. I didn't think we'd be 3-0, but, yay, it's a great start and looking good this season."

For fans going to the game, the Charm City Bills Backers are having a big tailgate at the Horseshoe Casino. It's a hundred bucks to get in and includes an open bar, food, and entertainment.

Again, there is just one more direct flight scheduled for Friday, but there are more this weekend if you are flying instead of driving.
