BUFFALO, N.Y. — The holiday spirit is in full swing in the Queen City.
The Buffalo Waterfront will host its Jingle Bell Rock the Ice on Friday, Dec. 22 at Canalside.
Skaters can go to the event from 5:00p.m. to 10:00 p.m. and will feature a live DJ and a visit from the Snow Sisters.
Plus, there will be special giveaways including:
- $1 off admission for anyone wearing festive attire.
- Stocking stuffer giveaways for the first 300 people on the ice.
- A $100 Buffalo Waterfront gift card for the most festive outfit, plus Bills bucket hats for the top 20 best-dressed patrons, courtesy of Highmark Blue Cross Blue Shield.
- Happy hour specials for Grinch Mimosas.
- 25% off all Ice at Canalside merchandise.
There will also be workers giving away hot chocolate vouchers, neck warmers, and gloves.
“We’re looking forward to a festive holiday weekend here at the Ice at Canalside,” said Michele Cicatello, marketing manager, of Buffalo Waterfront. “We encourage residents, and visitors in town for the holidays, to join us for a fun night on the ice and celebrate the best part of winter in Buffalo.”
Rink admission and skate rentals can be purchased from inside the Honda Winter Pavilion.
The cost of a ticket is $8 for ages 13 and up and $5 for children under 13 and members of the military.
Children up to age five can skate for free.
Patrons may bring their skates or rent a pair for $5. Highmark Blue Cross Blue Shield members receive $1 off skate rentals and admission.
