ONEONTA, N.Y. — With the holiday season soon to be upon us, this is the time of year Rockefeller Plaza is getting ready to put up its Christmas tree in New York City.
On Thursday morning, crews cut down the 75 foot tall Norway spruce from outside a home in Oneonta, New York.
It will soon be strung with 35,000 lights and a Swarovski crystal star.
The Rockefeller tree lighting ceremony will air December 2 right here on WGRZ Channel 2, NBC.
