BUFFALO, N.Y. — In spirit of the giving season, one Buffalo Bills player is making sure no families in Western New York are forgotten this year for the holidays.
Bills Defensive End Greg Rousseau teamed up with the YMCA of Western New York on Tuesday to give back to single mothers in the area.
Each mom was gifted a $600 gift card to Target, thanks to the Rousseau Family Foundation. The moms were able to shop the store and purchase holidays presents for their families.
"I feel like it's important to just give back," Rousseau said. "When God blesses you by being in the NFL, by giving me resources to be able to help out, it's important to try and do your part and just give back and show some love, especially around the holidays when everyone needs a little bit of extra love."
Target also provided the mothers with additional gifts for each families and even a room to help wrap the presents.
