BUFFALO, N.Y. — It's an early sign of fall in Western New York; Mayer Bros. Cider Mill and Bakery announced their 2024 opening date in a Facebook post on Monday.
The cider mill opens for their 172nd year on Wednesday, August 14. from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Mayer Bros. will serve their infamous pies and apple cider seven days a week. Don't forget to try one of their apple cider slushies.
It's one of Western New York's oldest businesses, dating back to 1852. As a first stop for many who enjoy autumn in Buffalo, the cider mill attracts more than 10,000 people each week in fall.
Visitors can expect homemade baked goods, various kinds of apple cider, apple butters, and more. Baked goods, juices, and ciders are available for online purchase on their website.
Mayer Bros. Cider Mill is located at 1540 Seneca Creek Road in West Seneca.
