BUFFALO, N.Y. — The SPCA Serving Erie County announced that the shelter had taken in 39 cats and kittens on Wednesday.
In a statement posted to social media, the SPCA said the animals were "in desperate need of medical care."
"Covered in urine, some have infections & many are bottle babies," the shelter said on social media.
The SPCA is asking the public for help by making donations to help care for the cats and kittens.
