BUFFALO, N.Y. — The City of Buffalo Animal Shelter is holding a reduced-fee adoption event on Saturday.
On July 20, the shelter is reducing adoption fees close to half of what they normally are.
Fees are about $100 for dogs and $65 for cats, according to their Facebook post. It includes spay or neuter, vaccines, a bag of pet food, and a free first vet visit.
Those who adopt will also receive $75 towards training and a free grooming from Hounds & Hops.
The event is held from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. at 380 N Oak St in Buffalo. Cash or check payments are only accepted.
Food and drinks will be available for attendees. Those who already have pets are required to bring them and meet potential adoptees before adopting.
