SEATTLE – In addition to a different cast and plot, the new Ghostbusters also features an array of updated gadgets.

We asked the cast which of the weapons they wish they could utilize in real life.

Melissa McCarthy opted for the “proton glove,” which she nicknamed the “Fist of Fury.”

“It’s a thing I put on in the big fight scene, and when you hit it's like a thunderbolt,” she said. “And I would like to use it on several - mainly, one person in this country right now, who I'm not going to say."

Director Paul Feig also likes the powerful glove.

“But I could never use it against anyone. I would only use it to protect someone against spectral entities,” he said.

“Even in traffic?” asked reporter Kim Holcomb.

“Actually, there are a couple of cars I wouldn't mind knocking their wheels out,” he replied, laughing.

Leslie Jones prefers a gadget that functions like a wood chipper.

"Oh, that was fun. It just sucks people in and chips them out in the back,” she said. “Yeah, I have a couple of people I want to do that to."

Kate McKinnon’s choice was the most unusual.

"There's like a prototype of a proton pack that's a grocery cart, and I'd like to take that around with me and just look like I'm out of my mind,” she said.

Ghostbusters is rated PG-13 and opens in theaters on Thursday.
