BUFFALO, N.Y. — The SPCA Serving Erie County will celebrate local wineries, breweries, and eateries across Western New York at their upcoming social event, Wine, Wags, and Brews, taking place Wednesday, June 12 from 5 to 8 p.m.
The dog-friendly event is open to animal lovers age 21 and up, and their pets. Attendees will receive drink samples throughout the night from participating wineries. The SPCA also plans to feature raffle prizes and pet themed exhibitors for visitors to enjoy.
General admission tickets for Wine, Wags, and Brews can be purchased for $45, with a $25 designated driver ticket option. Guests can purchase VIP tickets for $75 to receive early admission, access to the VIP tent, and exclusive giveaways.
"This is the elite social event of the season for dogs," said Gina Lattuca, the Chief Communications Officer at the Erie County SPCA. She said the SPCA is expecting more than 60 vendors to join the dog-friendly event, including animal-themed businesses.
Funds raised at Wine, Wags, and Brews will benefit the animals at the SPCA.
"All the work we're doing to keep pets with their families, and to keep families together, is funded just through donations," Lattuca explained. "Events like Wine, Wags and Brews are very important. That's what keeps us going. That's what keeps us bringing these services to the community."

The SPCA also has an 80s-themed adoption sale happening for the summer. Full details can be found here.
