ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. — "I just go there, put smiles on kids' faces, have everyone make happy memories and just try and have fun," Bills Fan Justin Staffone said. Living about a mile and a half from Highmark Stadium makes it easy to make it to every tailgate.

Being a Bills fan isn't just a hobby for Justin—it's a part of his family.

"My dad was a die-hard Bills fan." For the past 16 years or so, Staffone said he has shown up to almost every Bills home game.

The morning started like a typical Sunday home game, as Staffone got ready for the tailgate.

"Woke up at 8 o'clock, grabbed my 12 pack to go down to the game and I was planning on sitting there and planning on getting on TV for my mom. "

But, a chance encounter with NFL commentator Nate Burleson switched up his usual tailgate routine.

"Nate Burleson said I'm picking the Chiefs over the Bills, you know, so I said, well, if you want to stay on to that, on to that choice, you know, let's make a bet," Staffone said. "I'll take your jacket if the Bills win."

The moment went viral.

"I didn't really think anything of it," Staffone said. "Then people started swarming the set, and I was like, oh, I saw you on Facebook. I saw you on TV, and everyone is talking about you!"

Staffone said he's gained hundreds of new followers across social media platforms.

"I'm making a TikTok video to update all my new followers, and then hopefully I can find tickets to the game," Staffone said. "But if not, I'm just going to do what I did last time—wake up at eight, nine o'clock in the morning, put the overalls on, rock the jacket, and walk to the game and show it off."

Staffone's new threads will be shown off at the next home game on Sunday, Dec. 1 against the San Francisco 49ers.
