BUFFALO, N.Y. — Native American Heritage Month is celebrated every year during the month of Novemeber. In Western New York, the Seneca Gaming Corporation will be kicking off the month in style with the Indigenous Fashion Show this Saturday, Nov. 2.
Seneca Gaming Corporation representatives Elexa Printup and Nikki Seneca stopped by Most Buffalo on Tuesday to share what the organization has planned for the month long celebration, starting with the fashion show.
The celebration will kickoff on Friday, Nov. 1 with the Behind the Seams: VIP Preview night. Guests will be able to get an exclusive runway preview, meet the designers and models, learn about experience brands like N8IV Beauty, Cheekbone Beauty, IT Cosmetics, and more. The preview begins at 7p.m. at the Seneca Niagara Casino Mezzanine. It's 21 years of age or older and tickets are $20.
The main event is the Indigenous Fashion Show on Saturday, Nov. 2 at 6 p.m. The show is 16 years or older and tickets vary from $10-$30 depending on seat selection. Guests can drink, shop, and mingle with designers at the Trunk Show, where exclusive collections will set up right after the runway walk. The celebration will continue after the show on the casino floor at Stir with DJ Ransum.
