Haunted winter wonderland at EverHaunt for the holidays

Donation bins are also set up outside the building to collect items for several local organizations.

ANGOLA, N.Y. — Every year, EverHaunt brings out hundreds of visitors to enjoy their popular Halloween attraction in Angola. This December, they're doing something different and transforming the haunts for the holidays.

"There is a Friday the 13th in December, and we don't normally do holiday haunts, but we thought, why not take advantage of that opportunity," Kevin Donovan, EverHaunt owner, said. "We turned our hospital haunted house into a holiday party called the Rosewood County Holiday Party.

This will be a different experience than what you might see in October. It's a unique twist.

"When you come in October, the actors are scary, they are going to get you. They are going to do this and that. But, in this, they are going to be more celebrating as part of their acting," Donovan said.

EverHaunt's Delaware Creek Estates will also undergo a transformation for the holiday season inspired by the movie series "Home Alone". On Dec. 13, guests can take part in a laser gun experience to defend the house from robbers trying to break in.

In addition to providing holiday entertainment, EverHaunt is also focusing on giving back to the community during the season of giving. The attraction is teaming up with local organizations, including Western New York Foster Closet, Cradle Beach Camp, and Operation Good Neighbor. They are collecting donations through its December drives.

"Families are in need, especially now, and it's important for us to help," Donovan said. Donation bins are set up outside the building. Those are open 24/7. People can drop off clothes, toys, and food throughout December 15th.

For those interested in attending on Dec. 13, can find tickets available now on the EverHaunt website. Donovan also encouraged guests to bring items to donate to the drive.

"We expect a large influx of donations on Friday the 13th, and we're excited."

They are located at 144 Lake Street in Angola to collect donations.
