NIAGARA FALLS, ON — Parrots, lorikeets and hornbills cavort freely inside a Niagara Falls, Ontario attraction.
Bird Kingdom, just on the other side of the Rainbow Bridge, is the largest indoor free-flying aviary in the world.
Hundreds of birds are free to fly among the tropical foliage in the warm, large main room. There is a room where guests can feed lorikeets. and can expect to have the little feathered friends land on them. Photo opportunities with macaws are available. The site also has other unique animals like bats and axolotls, and a smaller aviary for smaller birds.
Take your time walking through the main aviary, some birds are a little shy and taking a slow stroll allows you to identify more residents. And remember the attraction feels tropical all year round.
Bird Kingdom is open everyday, and the website is www.birdkingdom.ca
