Imagine if Melissa Holmes, Pete Gallivan. and Patrick Hammer had their own cookbooks. Good new: You don't have to because Daybreak's Kate Welshofer has done it for you.
More on that later. First, what better way to start the day than talking about something that drives a lot of us nuts?
Maybe you have a bunch of email to catch up on this morning. Adobe recently surveyed more than a thousand workers in white collar jobs to find out the most annoying email phrase.
"Not sure if you saw my last e-mail" was the big winner or loser as the case may be.
with "Per my last email" a close second.
Both of those are sort of the "bless your heart" of work emails, aren't they?
Experts say while email is convenient, we still struggle with conveying emotion. Because of that, experts say some phrases can negatively impact the culture of an office and even productivity.
So they can actually be more than just annoying.
Also trending: Snoop Dogg's cookbook! It's called Crook to Cook. It features 50 of the rapper's favorite recipes including baked mac and cheese, chicken and waffles, and baby back ribs. The book is organized by meals and occasions, and it also has Snoop's own recipe for gin and juice.
So, what if the Daybreak team had cookbooks? Keep in mind these are very early prototypes.
We start with the Melissa Holmes cookbook: Just Drive Me to Chick-fil-a. This handy guide is full of

Next, we have Cooking Phish with Patrick Hammer, which also features Patrick's famous breakfast food: Steely Dan Cakes. Each recipes take approximately 5 hours to prepare and not everyone is going to get it but some people will think it's just really, really good.
And finally Don't miss this soon to be cookbook classic Hold my Beard: A Guide to Grillin' and Chillin' and Ballin' by Peter Ernest Hemingway Gallivan.
