BUFFALO, N.Y. — During the week between Christmas and New Years, families and ex-pats in town for the holidays may be looking for new activities to fill their winter break.
This year, many Western New Yorkers have been climbing their way into 2020 at one of the city's new attractions.
Central Rock Gym first opened last spring on Chicago Street. General Manager Justin Koestler tells 2 On Your Side the facility had its three busiest days of business so far in the days following Christmas.
The gym is one of the largest of its kind in the country. It has routes available for climbers of all ages and ability levels. Day passes start at $22 for adults and $12 for kids.
