BUFFALO, N.Y. — In just three years in North Buffalo, Dress for Success has outgrown its first location on Hertel Avenue, and recently moved to a larger space down the street.
The local chapter of the global nonprofit organization has helped hundreds of women in Buffalo gain employment by providing them with clothing for interviews, as well as career coaching, resume advice, and other resources. All of the items on display in the store are donated directly from women in the community.
Dress for Success Buffalo accepts donations on Wednesdays from 11:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the store, located at 1256 Hertel Avenue. All career development services are referral-based and appointment-only. To learn more about how to schedule an appointment or make a donation, click here.
