BUFFALO, N.Y. — A Buffalo Bills Hall of Famer is hoping to promote literacy to local children with the help of a popular brewery.
Reed will host a fundraising event at Community Beer Works Thursday night for his foundation. Throughout the event, all sales from "Let's Go Pils" beer will be donated to Boys & Girls Clubs of the Northtowns, to help make improvements to their reading room. The event runs from 5-9 p.m.

The brewery is also gearing up to participate in the 10th annual Buffalo Beer Week. Community Beer Works hosts one of the most unique events of the 100 or so that occur during the ten-day celebration. A New-Orleans style funeral for the Rutherford B. Haze beer will be held on Friday, September 20th at Hot Mama's Canteen on Military Road. Learn more here.
