LEWISTON, N.Y. — If you're looking for something to do three weeks from now, and you like peaches, there's no better place to be than Lewiston.
The annual Niagara County Peach Fest starts September 5 in Academy Park with all the things you're used to: music, rides, the peach queen pageant and, of course, peaches served any way you can think of.
New this year, instead of Saturday, the Peach Taste Off and Best Peach Vendor Dish competitions will both be held on opening night, which falls on a Thursday.
