NFTA is looking for artists to create Black History of WNY design

The theme for this year is "Black History of Western New York"

BUFFALO, N.Y. — How would you like to share your art design on a moving billboard for all to see? If this is something you are interested in, look no further.

The NFTA-Metro is asking for Western New York artists to submit their designs for their Black History Month celebration.

The NFTA is looking for local artists to submit their designs for the Black Excellence Art Project, which will support the theme of "Black Innovators" and Black History Month, in February.

This year's theme is "Black History of Western New York." The NFTA is looking for pieces that are eye-catching, inspiring, creative, and reflective of the theme.

The selected artists will be notified by December 8 and paid a flat fee for their artistic contribution to be used on a Metro Bus.

The deadline for submissions will be midnight on Friday, December 1. The art submissions will be reviewed and a winner chosen by a committee selected by the NFTA.

For more information on how to submit your design, you can reach out to ally@discoverniagara.org.
