BUFFALO, N.Y. — The Goo Goo Dolls announced on Tuesday, Dec. 3 that they have made the difficult decision to postpone their South Africa shows.
In a video posted to the bands X page (formerly Twitter) it showed one of the bands founders, John Rzeznik in the hospital due to pneumonia.
The post said the following:
"We’re heartbroken to postpone our South Africa shows. This country means so much to us, and we were so excited to create more memories with you. Sadly, my doctor has advised rest and recovery. Thank you for your understanding—we’ll make it worth the wait when we return in March 2025!
Rescheduled Dates:
- March 25 – Cape Town
- March 27 – Durban
- March 29 – Pretoria
*All tickets will remain valid for the rescheduled dates, and ticket holders will receive clear instructions on how to confirm their attendance or request a refund. Tickets are automatically valid for the new dates and are fully protected with Webtickets."
