HAMBURG, N.Y. — The Erie County Fair will be here soon, and there will be rides, animals, displays, vendors, fried dough, competitions, and no shortage of family-friendly activities for the entire family.
2 On Your Side will also be a proud sponsor of nightly fireworks. Each day at 9:30 p.m., a 10-minute pyrotechnic show — weather permitting — will be produced by Skylighters of Western New York, The Erie County Fair, and 2 On Your Side.
And, of course, there will be live entertainment. A list of acts, from both music and comedy, will perform at the grandstand throughout fair. Here's the current lineup:
- August 7, 7:30 p.m. The Happy Together Tour featuring The Turtles, Jay & The Americans, The Association, Badfinger, The Vogues, and The Cowsills.
- August 8, 7 p.m. Ashley McBryde with special guest Caitlyn Smith.
- August 10, 7:30 p.m. I Love the 90s Tour featuring Vanilla Ice, Rob Base, and Young MC.
- August 12, 7:30 p.m. Quinn XCII.
- August 14, 7:30 p.m. Gabriel "Fluffy" Iglesias.
- August 15, 7:30 p.m. Warrant
- August 16, 6 p.m. Travis Tritt with Aaron Tippin and Pam Tillis.
- August 17, 7:30 p.m. Ultimate Night of Destruction.
- August 18, 1 p.m. Afternoon Demolition Derby.
- August 18, 6 p.m. Evening Demolition Derby.
Ticket purchases also include admission to the fair on the day of the show. All events are planned to go on, rain or shine, and all ticket sales are final.
The Erie County Fair starts on August 7 and runs through August 18 at the Hamburg Fairgrounds.
