WNY Women's Foundation to Host 2nd Annual Women's Leadership Summit

Local women of all professional backgrounds are welcome to attend the WNY Women's Foundation 2nd Annual Women's Leadership Summit on May 31st at UB's Alumni Arena.

BUFFALO, N.Y. — The WNY Women's Foundation invites local women of all professional backgrounds to attend the 2nd Annual Women's Leadership Summit on May 31st at UB's Alumni Arena. This signature event is designed to educate and engage future leaders and provide valuable networking opportunities with influential leaders in WNY.

The Women's Leadership Summit will provide aspiring leaders, emerging entrepreneurs an opportunity to participate in workshops and interactive panel discussions, while connecting with Buffalo's most influential women leaders.

The Women's Leadership Summit takes place May 31st, 12:30pm - 5:30pm, at UB's Alumni Arena. Participants can select one of the following options to tailor their experience:

  • Aspiring Leader: Those new to the workforce, zero to five years into a career- Registration is $50 (student discount is available with valid student ID)
  • Emerging Leader: Those who are six-plus years into a career -Registration is $75
  • Entrepreneurial: Women entrepreneurs and women-owned businesses-Registration is $75.

All attendees will have the opportunity to engage in a speed networking session designed to connect ambitious professionals with more than 50 experienced women leaders. The focus on this year's Summit panel discussions will be on effective communication, emotional intelligence and self-awareness, knowing your worth and negotiating your salary and intergenerational leadership.

Keynote Speaker is Renee Marino, Founder and CEO of Master Communicators, Best-Selling Author of "Becoming a Master Communicator", coach, speaker, Broadway and Film Actress.
