BUFFALO, N.Y. — A popular event is returning to the Buffalo Niagara Convention Center.
"Nickel City Comic Con Fall Edition. We're back!"
Chris Dabrowski is the President of Nickel City Comic Con. He said, "about three and a half months ago we welcomed more than 10,000 fans to the convention center."
They had great success and decided to hold a fall edition. People of all ages can spend the weekend at Nickel City Comic Con Fall Edition.
The fall edition has a lot in store from all things movies, TV, superheroes, comics, celebrity guests, and more. The President of Nickel City's Comic Con said there's something for everyone.
According to Nickel City Comic Con's website, "Celebrities are available for photos, autographs, and interactive Q&A panels. National and Local Comic artists, creators and vendors offer everything from original artworks, to vintage toys, to one-of-a-kind collectibles."
Shad Nowicki is from Ellicottville. He said, "I love doing the Buffalo Shows. I feel more at home here than anywhere." He said there are more than 100 vendors and exhibitors that will fill the convention center.
Dabrowski, said, "If you're a fan of comic books, Funkos, toys, vintage toys, new toys we have something for everyone. We have Q&A panels, we have movie cars, we have screenings, we have Q&A panels. There's literally something for everybody at Nickel City Con!"
It takes a lot of work to get everything ready for the event. On top of exhibitors and celebrity guests, there are also horror attractions and fan favorite items.
"We have the DeLorean, so it's come back all the way from 1985, or 1885, or 2015, whatever way you want to look at it. We have the Time Machine from 'Back to the Future.' We have the Ecto-1 from Ghostbusters, and we have the Batboat from the 1966 Batman series," Dabrowski said.
It runs from Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The last time to buy tickets online is Friday at midnight. You can also buy them at the door. The event is at the Buffalo Convention Center located at 153 Franklin St. in Buffalo.
