Music Is Art festival will move back to its original location

On Sept. 21 from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m., hundreds of bands, DJs, and artists will take over Buffalo AKG Art Museum and Buffalo State University grounds.

BUFFALO, N.Y. — It seems like a long ways away, but Music Is Art is already laying out its plans for this year's festival.

Organizer Robby Takac from the Goo Goo Dolls announced Friday that the free festival is moving back to its original location, the Buffalo AKG Art Museum.

On Sept. 21 from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m., hundreds of bands, DJs, and artists will take over museum and Buffalo State University grounds.

"So much goes into making this thing happen," Takac said. "But with the blessings of the Albright-Knox here, and Buffalo State, I know we've got some really exciting and innovative new creative days ahead of us here for the Music Is Art festival."
