WYOMING COUNTY, N.Y. — Looking for some fun outdoor Memorial day weekend plans?
Happening at Letchworth State Park will be the 'Red White & Blue Balloon Festival' on May 24 to the 26. Hot air balloons will take flight from the Archery Field Overlook and will float above the Genesee River Gorge.
Spectators can watch from the ground for free, and a $10 vehicle fee is collected by the park between the hours of 9 a.m. - 5 p.m.

- Friday, May 25 between 6 p.m. - 7:50 p.m.
- Saturday, May 25 between 6a.m. - 8 a.m. & 6 p.m. - 7:50 p.m.
- Sunday, May 26 between 6 a.m. - 8 a.m.
Those feeling brave can take in the festival themselves from above in one of the balloon baskets. Rates for rides start at $425 for a shared basket, and private flights start at $1950. To learn more about rides click here.
More than 20 hot air balloons are expected to fill the skies all showcasing different colors and designs.
According to Letchworth State Park in a post made to their Facebook page they said "Remember, outside of the rally, hot air balloons fly here as often as they can. May to October, roughly 70 flights per year, normally launching from the Upper Falls area."
