BUFFALO, N.Y. — The Friends of Freedom Park announced that Healing by the Water is returning this week.
Every Thursday night from July 11 through September 12, you can find music and food at Freedom Park, formerly known as Broderick Park. This event is from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
According to a press release shared with 2 On Your Side, their goal is to "come together in the spirit of healing to make peace with the past, find joy in the present, and sow seeds for a brighter tomorrow."
In addition to food and music, local vendors will also be at the event. Hundreds of visitors have attended the park's celebration in the past.
There is limited parking available at the park, but street parking is also an option on Niagara Street, by the foot of Ferry Street.
