BUFFALO, N.Y. — If you're in charge of bringing the wine to your Thanksgiving dinner, you may want to head to the Broadway Market this weekend.
Broadway Market is hosting its Fall Wine Festival, showcasing some of our region's best wineries. You'll get a chance to sample local wine, plus stock up on other holiday essentials.
"We love to celebrate our holidays at the Broadway Market, and this is our first one leading into Christmas and the holidays at the market," Kathleen Peterson, manager at the Broadway Market, told 2 On Your Side.
"So we enjoy having our wineries here from different regions, and it's Thanksgiving, so it's a great way to start or finish your Thanksgiving dinner preparation."
The festival continues Saturday from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m.
“We couldn’t be happier to announce another marquee event at the historic Broadway Market,” Acting Mayor Christopher Scanlon said in a statement.
“The Broadway Market’s Fall Wine Festival is a celebration of our city and region’s proud wineries. The festival features local wines, food, and music that visitors will appreciate and enjoy, along with all the specialty food and craft vendors who are regulars at the market.”
