EDEN, N.Y. — The Eden Corn Festival returned on Thursday, and this year it's celebrating 60 years.
Events at this year's event include baseball and softball games, craft shows, corn-husking contests, and animal demonstrations.
"The corn-husking is my favorite event. I mean it really is, it's very interactive and I enjoy it. You see the kids and the adults and everybody's having fun, and it's a fun event to watch," Jeff Winter, president of the Eden Corn Festival, told 2 On Your Side.
2 On Your Side meteorologist Dan Russell will be taking part in the corn-husking competition on Saturday.
While you are there, you can also donate money to the Eden tornado relief fund.
