BUFFALO, N.Y. — Explore and More- The Ralph C. Wilson, Jr. Children's Museum in Buffalo is celebrating its five-year anniversary starting Wednesday, June 26 through Sunday, June 30. Throughout the week, the Canalside location will have birthday-themed crafts and activities. There will also be zoo animals, a book festival and scavenger hunt.
Tickets are free for children that are five-years-old, and they will receive a special birthday gift inside the museum. Everyone older, or younger, than five years old can find admission tickets on sale now at ExploreAndMore.org for $13.
Here's a list of fun activities happening:
- All Week (June 26-30): Birthday-Themed Crafts & Activities, Scavenger Hunt
- Wednesday, June 26 & Thursday, June 27: Animal Friends from the Buffalo Zoo (11 a.m.-1 p.m.)
- Friday, June 28: Milk for Health's Cows at Canalside (11 a.m.-1 p.m.), Barb's Book Buddies (11 a.m.-1 p.m.), Free Play Friday on Pierce Lawn at Canalside: Super Soccer Stars (11 a.m.-1 p.m.), An Appearance by Explore & More's STEMbot mascot (Noon-1 p.m.)
- Saturday, June 29: Princess Meet & Greet: Wonderland Character Entertainment's Snow Sisters (10 a.m.-Noon), Canalside Children's Book Festival (10 a.m.- 2 p.m.)
- Sunday, June 30: $5 admission courtesy of KeyBank, Meet & Greet Cartoon Australian Heelers (11 a.m.-1 p.m.), Join us in singing "Happy Birthday" (Noon)
