BUFFALO, N.Y. — Buffalo Fashion Week starts this week and makes it's comeback as one of the most unique showcases yet.
After months of preparation and investment, Buffalo's youngest black film maker, who produced 'Levi' the film, Khalil Carr brings his vision of fashion alive as the Buffalo Fashion Week Executive Director.
Fashion week was also put together with the help of Project Director, Estherlin Barrientos and Creative Director, Kimori Jamison as well as the community who have supported the showcase.
There will be over 150 models styled in over 20 various brands and stores.
This years show will help to provide scholarship funding to other local aspiring art talents in film, music and fashion.
Fashion exhibits for the show will be held on both Monday, October 16th through the 18th at different locations in Buffalo.
Brands and clothing stores such as Queen City Vintage, Trend up and more will be featured and styled on the models.
The first night will be held at Templeton Landing from 7:00pm until 11:00pm and the second night will be at Other Half Brewing in the Seneca One Tower from 6:00pm until 10:00pm.
Everyone is welcome to enjoy the night full of local fashion experts and fun. Tickets will range from $24-$38 for each night.
