BUFFALO, N.Y. — Close to 8,000 cyclists and 2,000 volunteers helped make the 2019 Ride for Roswell an outstanding success this past weekend. The Ride for Roswell is not just a charity bike ride. This annual event brings people together to celebrate cancer survivors, pay tribute to those who have lost their battle and make a difference in finding a cure.
The 24th annual Ride for Roswell festivities kicked off Friday night with a Peleton ride from the medical campus to the University at Buffalo's north campus. About 200 of the top fundraisers took part in the 12-mile route. Thousands of cyclists took to the roads on Saturday and celebrated at UB for post ride festivities.
